MOTTO
The motto of Timtally University is "building dignity through excellence". The words dignity' in the motto signifies the purpose of establishing Timtally University in the Southern part of Plateau, where the University is located. The University, therefore, as a matter of policy strives towards achieving the ideals of a virile Nigerian unity. This is reflected in its operational activities, especially in admissions and staff recruitment.
The word 'excellence' in the motto signifies the attention and effort the University pays to quality education for production of honesty, truth and loyalty for the management and conservation of Nigeria’s natural resource management and conservation. The University, therefore, strives to provide adequate facilities for teaching, research and community service within the limits of available resources.
